Greetings of Peace from Pyinya Sanyae!

We are happy to announce the start of a new course in January 2025.
Applications for Certificate Course in Teacher Education (Batch 17) January 2025 are now open.

This 1.5 years (intensive study) course is followed by 1-year In-service practice teaching. Both parts are compulsory.

Trainees will be asked to choose one area of specialization from these three tracks. Teacher education for

a) pre-school children (adapted Montessori method)
b) primary + middle school students (General education)
c) youth who have not completed their basic education (for Community College)

May I invite you to share this information with interested and suitable applicants, so that many more youth will have the chance to train to be teachers for the vulnerable and disadvantaged students of our country.

25th to 29th November 2024 – Interview and English language proficiency test

13th January 2025 – Course begins – in Yangon

Requirements :

Desire to teach, particularly the disadvantaged children
Age between 19 – 30 years
Pre Intermediate level in English
Willing to learn and grow with peers

Course Fees : 500,000 MMK per semester
Trainees’ Contribution: Board and lodging and personal living expenses
